Popular actress, model, dance artiste and beauty queen Gayesha Perera has held a special pooja to invoke blessings for the entire country.
Gayesha has held this pooja at the Medhankara Viharaya in Karagampitiya, Dehiwala as the new year dawned yesterday (01) She was joined by her boyfriend Hasanjith Chathuranga Kuruppuarachchi.
It is said that the pooja was organised by the Mayor of the Dehiwala - Mt. Lavinia Municipal Council, Dhanasiri Amaratunga. Meanwhile, according to rumour, Gayesha is to join the fray at the Western Provincial Council polls under the UPFA ticket.
